About the NPC

We strive to strengthen non-profit organisations (NPOs), so that they can build strong, healthy and safe communities for all South Africans. We do this by building the capacity of non-profit organisations (NPOs) to effectively manage their resources and relationships with donors and partners. We provide training, conduct research, engage in legislative reform and facilitate a support services network to build the organisational and institutional capacity of organisations working towards social and economic justice.

We are the only organisation in South Africa that deals exclusively in non-profit law. We are working towards an enabling legal and regulatory environment to strengthen the capacity of non-profit organisations to deliver vital social services and products on issues such as HIV/AIDS, housing, unemployment, education, crime, gender inequality, environmental conservation and many other pressing concerns.

So whether you need the latest on the NPO Act, Tax, NDA or Lottery funding or our Workshops, or if you as a company are involved in community development we aim to help.
